HekateA Greek goddess who in one sense became the deified image of the Priestess as Liminal Point. She combines the Heka aspects of the Great Liberating Mother with the Triple Goddess of the Celtic traditions. She is a Torch-bearer in the Underworld. Her name is inherited from the Egyptian word for Magick, Heka. Pronounced Heh-kah-teh or Heh-kah-teh depending upon the ancient dialect. See also Hekat.
