The magical teachings of Templum Babalonis are revealed to the aspiring student through the traditional methods and structure of the ancient Pagan Mystery Schools. This means that the Mysteries are revealed in a series of Initiations through which the aspirant must persevere. These Initiations follow a specific theme which allows for the gradual development of the aspirant. Each Initiation corresponds to a Degree which represents the current aptitude of the student. Within each degree are teachings and exercises which help to unfold the Mysteries of that Initiation and Degree within the student.
The training within each degree is rigorous and the time demanded of the aspirant by the Temple in their training is significant. The teachings and exercises impact the aspirant on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. The teaching process is experiential and 'hands-on', as opposed to simple philosophical speculation. Except for some basic material in the early degrees, the curriculum is completely unpublished and unavailable in any book. The meetings are frequent, mandatory, and must take place face-to-face in the Temple. We do not offer mail-order or online classes. Magick of this magnitude can not be taught long-distance. It must be experienced and practiced in person. In each degree the teachings of the Temple are divided between those for the Magicians, those for the Priestesses, and those which are common to both. The Temple practices a form of Magick which is based upon the polarities of the Male and Female spiritual energy. This polarity between the genders was widely known in Ancient times, but was violently repressed by the Monotheistic religions of the past two thousand years. This Magick of Polarity has been given new life in the magical philosophy of Thelema in this Aeon, and it is for these reasons that the Temple teachings involve different roles for different genders. Unlike all other modern groups practicing ritual magick, women are not trained as 'Magicians' in Templum Babalonis. Women are Priestesses through which Magical Energy moves in a different way than in it does males. Priestesses have a different understanding of themselves and their own relation to Magick. 
The Temple is arranged into two sets of Degrees: the Outer Temple, often referred to as the Elemental Degrees and the Inner Temple.
Like many other Magical Orders, the Outer Temple is Elemental-based and consists of five degrees. Unlike other orders, the candidates
Initiation into the Elements is intimate and experiential. Direct communication with the hierarchy of Elemental entities is an
integral part of each degree and allows for individual development of the candidate in relation to their own personal needs.
Amongst many of the commonly-known magical techniques taught in the outer degrees are Manifestation, Talismanic Work, Yoga, Tantra, Meditation, Astrology, Tarot, Banishing, Touchstones (Female Magick), Indwelling, Astral Scrying, Invocation, Evocation of Spirits, Theurgia, Goetia, Enochian, and Thelemic Magick. Most of the magical techniques taught in the Outer Temple are confidential and will not be mentioned here. We can say, however, that one of the culminating Mysteries of the Elemental Degrees is the teaching of the special technique of Evocation called the Triangle of Manifestation. 
The Inner Temple is marked by the complete dedication of its members to Babalon Herself, Her Mysteries, Servants, Allies and Agendas. Nothing specific can be mentioned to the uninitiated of the Inner Temple, other than to say that the nature of the workings are extremely complex. The perfected Priestess or Magician is utilized in service of Babalon herself. Having previously determined for themselves that their Will is in alignment with that of the Temple, the Spirit of the Priestess or Magician is put into direct action. The dedication required to persevere through the training in these Degrees is beyond the ability of most.
